Our Story
2008 saw Crystalla become the worlds first ever lingerie range specially designed to support and enhance the well-being of it's wearer. Infused with vivid and vibrant colours of crystals, the inspiration behind Crystalla lingerie is unmistakable. Forget black, white and baby pink. Think shimmering Malachite green or glowing Jasper orange. The eye-popping colour is tonic enough - but there's more to Crystalla than colour alone. Our lingerie features unique pockets which hold crystals close to the body - comfortably, securely and discreetly.
Crystals have been used for thousands of years and can help promote a sense of well-being. “But carrying crystals close to the body can be problematic" explains Juliette Caton, founder of Crystalla. “Many crystal therapists recommended I could benefit from the therapeutic aspects of crystals by carrying them with me in my underwear. When I tucked crystals in my lingerie
they would either catapult across the room or drop down the toilet. Worse was when crystals in my bra gave me nipples of improbable dimensions or bizarre location. Not a good look."
Crystals can support a myriad of well-being issues and there are crystals to support all aspects of our well-being.
Juliette took to wearing crystals on a daily basis after discovering, aged 30, that she had the bone density of an 85 year old and was at severe risk of osteoporosis in later life. After using crystals noted for their ability to promote calcium absorption and cell renewal, Juliette's bone density rose by 7%. From this experience Juliette was inspired to develop the Crystalla range to make it easier for other women to use crystals to support their well-being.
Crystalla lingerie is made from the very highest quality segrino satin and lace and is produced in one of the last remaining lingerie factories in the U.K. Tremendous care has been taken in the design and production of our garments to produce beautiful lingerie that is a pleasure to wear. Our evolving collection of lingerie garments, inspired by the amazing colours of crystals is launching with dazzling debut ranges Malachite and Jasper.
